It was exciting to be working closely with Tom and the team to secure funding for their three main programmes: Lewisham Urban Opera (LUO) and the Lewisham Creative Chorus that has grown out of it; Schubert 200, an 8yr programme started in 2020, in which MTFA is recording, touring and animating all 3 of Franz Schubert’s iconic song cycles for their 200th anniversaries and, The Hive, a ground breaking idea for democratising performance through innovation.
